A lot of us have bad debt in this country, and in fact, if you’re saving money, you’re not normal! Do you want to know why that this is? If you look at statistics, and look closely, you will find out that over 60% of America lives paycheck to paycheck, and I don’t know how you were raised, but I always knew that if you were in the majority, you were the “normal” one. Those that were in the minority were the “abnormal” ones. Hey, I don’t care what people call me, because it’s my life, and as long as I’m saving money, and heading toward retirement, those that don’t want to save, don’t need to save, because no one is forcing them!

If you’re one of the many that want to get out of debt, and head toward an early, healthy retirement, then let me give you some pointers on how you can dig yourself out of debt. It’s going to take you, motivation, and a lot of discipline. If you can accomplish this, you’re already on the right path to financial freedom.

Money = Debt Freedom

If you don’t have money, you’re not going to get out of debt. What makes me mad is that so many people out there think that there’s some magic button that you push, and your bills disappear. People! Just like making money, it’s going to take work, and unless you win the lotto, money isn’t going to be falling into your lap anytime soon, I can promise you that much.

What you’re going to want to do is get out there, find a job, and even work a second or third one if you have to. You don’t have to work these jobs the rest of your life. Instead, you’ll want to work them until your debt is 100% free, and clear. If you take all of your side money, and apply it toward your debt, I can almost promise you that you’ll be debt free in no time.

What you’re going to find out is that a lot of America is lazy, or they feel entitled to that 52” LCD screen. If you can’t pay cash for it, you’re digging yourself in a huge hole. You want to get into the habit of purchasing everything with your debit card, or if you’re disciplined enough, you’ll want to learn how to pay your credit cards off in full each and every month. By doing this, you will soon find out that you can really get out of debt fast.

Get organized with your bills, write a game plan, and save your money. Again, there’s no magic button, and you’re going to find out that it’s not that hard to get out. Get that shovel, start digging, and once you get out, you’re going to feel like a whole new person, because you’re going to be able to save toward life, rather than worry about your negative cash flow. By following this simple game plan, I’m hoping that you can get out of debt today.
